EV Rockets: Midday Risers & $10 Winners to Track

Stocks bounced back Tuesday after a sharp decline in the previous session, as investors navigated growing concerns over global trade and President Donald Trump's increasing criticism of Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.

Tuesday's rally followed a tough day on Monday, where the Dow dropped over 970 points, and both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq lost more than 2%. It marked the fourth consecutive losing session for the Dow and Nasdaq.

As of 11:36 AM ET, the Dow was up 798.25 points, or 2.0913%, at $38,968.66. The Nasdaq Composite added 423.58 points, or 2.38%, at $18,231.88. The S&P 500 rose 107.63 points, or 2.09%, at $5,265.83. Among the 11 major S&P 500 sectors, 11 showed positive movement, with Communication Services leading the way with a 2.16% increase.

Top Movers: Under $10 

Tivic Health Systems Inc (TIVC) is up 100.00% today to trade at the current level of $7.00. This follows briefings delivered to senior leadership at the White House and the FDA, which generated strong interest in the potential military and defense applications of its biologic and bioelectronic product candidates.

PureCycle Technologies Inc (PCT) zoomed 12.27% in today’s trade to $6.25. This rally can be attributed to news of a series of transactions to sell certain Southern Ohio Port Authority Tax-Exempt Facility Revenue Bonds.

In current trading, Oblong Inc (OBLG) stock is at $2.81 following authorization of a stock buyback program by its Board of Directors to repurchase up to $500,000 of the Company’s common stock.

Kopin Corp (KOPN) rose 19.76% in the early hours of today's trading to move at $1.12. The strong performance of KOPN stock came as investors were encouraged by securing a multi-year contract, totaling $7.5 million.

In the current trading session, Novagold Resources Inc (NG) jumped 21.04% to $3.76 over a previous close of $3.11 as the company in partnership with Paulson, entered into a definitive agreement with Barrick Gold Corporation to acquire Barrick’s 50% interest in Donlin Gold LLC for $1.0 billion in cash.
